Utility Patrol
Due North Aviation use our helicopter platform(s) to provide you with the best aerial monitoring of powerline or pipeline utility systems by flying lower, slower, and with better visibility than a comparably priced aircraft can perform. We are able to provide our pipeline and powerline patrol services throughout the United States and can design a timetable and cost outline suited specifically to your needs. We offer both piston and turbine helicopter packages and can cater to nearly any of your surveying needs.
Don't let costly outages or leaks find their way into your utility system. With greater reliability, speed, and experience than the competition, let our expertise at Due North Aviation help you to find trouble spots before they start.
Due North Aviation, in conjunction with Fairfield Air Ventures, has been operating and running the Fairfield county airport for more than 6 years. We have worked with utility companies on an ongoing basis. These companies include AEP, Dayton Power and Light, South Central Power, Tepco Gas Transmission, Rockies Express Pipeline, and Optimal Giamotics in Canada to name a few.
Our Helicopters
Our fleet is made up of multiple company owned helicopters which include Schweizer 300C models, Hughes 500D, MD520 Notar, and Bell Jet Rangers. We have chosen to use these helicopters in our fleet because of their excellent safety records and mission flexibility. All of our aircraft have been used in commercial operations. Our two-passenger Schweizers offer the ultimate in cost efficiency and our larger turbine helicopters offer more room, speed and power.
